For AIAPGET, first identify whether a figure is an examination qualifying threshold or a last-admitted rank for a particular seat. These answer different questions.
Read cutoff figures correctly
| Figure | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Qualifying threshold | Check the session, paper and candidate category to which it applies. |
| Opening / closing rank | Match the institution, programme, quota, category and counselling round. |
| Revised threshold | Use a later official revision when it explicitly changes an earlier threshold. |
| Previous-year figure | Treat it as historical context, not an admission guarantee. |
Build a comparison that means something
- Keep comparisons within the ayurveda, homoeopathy, siddha or unani route.
- Do not compare a category rank directly with a general merit rank or convert a percentile into marks without an official basis.
- Record the exact round and seat category beside each closing rank.
- Keep a range of course choices based on eligibility and preferences, not a single predicted cutoff.
Numerical cutoffs
This guide does not publish an unverified cutoff number. Open the official result or admission notice for the relevant session and category before relying on a threshold.
Official resources
Use the latest notice for your course and session. Later corrections or revised schedules take priority over an earlier bulletin.
