Start with the official GPAT syllabus for your session and selected paper. The areas below help organise revision; the bulletin remains the source for the complete topic list and exclusions.
Areas to map against the official syllabus
- Pharmaceutics
- Pharmaceutical chemistry and analysis
- Pharmacology
- Pharmacognosy and related pharmacy subjects
Make a usable syllabus checklist
- Download the relevant syllabus and record its session, course and paper name.
- Create one row per official topic and mark it as not started, studied, practised or revised.
- Separate unfamiliar concepts from calculation or recall mistakes; plan different practice for each.
- Compare any older paper with the current syllabus before treating its topic mix as a guide.
Choose the right level
An examination score and an institution’s admission or scholarship rules are separate checks. Apply to the relevant admission process after the result.
Keep revision measurable
Use short topic tests after studying a chapter and mixed sets after several topics. Record accuracy, time taken and repeated errors. A topic is ready for revision when you can explain the underlying idea and solve a fresh question without relying on a memorised answer.
Official resources
Use the latest notice for your course and session. Later corrections or revised schedules take priority over an earlier bulletin.
