Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical and Allied Sciences — Undergraduate

Preparation TipsUpdated

Prepare for JENPAS-UG with a plan based on your chosen paper, present knowledge and time available. Paper I for courses other than BHA; Paper II for BHA should determine which syllabus and practice material you use.

Set your subject priorities

  • Paper I: Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  • Paper I: Basic English and Health Aptitude
  • Paper II: Physical Science, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Basic English and Logical Reasoning

A practical study cycle

A practical study cycle
StageAction
StartRead the current syllabus and take a short diagnostic test.
BuildStudy a manageable topic, then answer fresh questions on it.
ReviewRecord why an answer was wrong and revise the underlying concept.
CombineUse mixed sets to practise switching between topics.
RehearseAttempt timed papers and review accuracy as well as speed.

Adjust the plan to your results

Spend more time on repeated weak areas than on topics that already feel comfortable. Keep a short revision record for formulas, concepts or clinical distinctions that you repeatedly miss. Schedule breaks and a consistent sleep routine around your study commitments. A useful plan is one you can sustain and update after each practice session.

Keep preparation aligned

Choose the paper needed for your target course. BHA uses a different paper from the nursing and other allied health routes.

Official resources

Use the latest notice for your course and session. Later corrections or revised schedules take priority over an earlier bulletin.
