MH DPN / PHN CET Preparation Tips

Maharashtra DPN / PHN Common Entrance Test

Preparation TipsUpdated

Prepare for MH DPN / PHN CET with a plan based on your chosen paper, present knowledge and time available. The eligible DPN or PHN diploma route should determine which syllabus and practice material you use.

Set your subject priorities

  • The DPN/PHN syllabus published by the CET Cell
  • Relevant qualifying nursing subjects
  • Specialty and public-health areas where prescribed

A practical study cycle

A practical study cycle
StageAction
StartRead the current syllabus and take a short diagnostic test.
BuildStudy a manageable topic, then answer fresh questions on it.
ReviewRecord why an answer was wrong and revise the underlying concept.
CombineUse mixed sets to practise switching between topics.
RehearseAttempt timed papers and review accuracy as well as speed.

Adjust the plan to your results

Spend more time on repeated weak areas than on topics that already feel comfortable. Keep a short revision record for formulas, concepts or clinical distinctions that you repeatedly miss. Schedule breaks and a consistent sleep routine around your study commitments. A useful plan is one you can sustain and update after each practice session.

Keep preparation aligned

DPN/PHN has its own CET bulletin. Do not use the ordinary MH Nursing CET syllabus or candidature rules for this route.

Official resources

Use the latest notice for your course and session. Later corrections or revised schedules take priority over an earlier bulletin.
