Use the UP CAHET examination scheme for the paper you will actually take. The Bachelor or Master course application is the relevant selection for this profile.
Examination scheme
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Session reference | CAHET 2026 Master course bulletin |
| Mode | OMR-based MCQs in English |
| Questions and time | 120 questions in 140 minutes |
| Scoring | 1 mark per correct response; no negative marking |
| Scope | This summary is for Master courses; use the separate Bachelor bulletin for undergraduate admission |
Use the scheme in practice
Set your practice session to the official time limit. Record unanswered questions separately from incorrect answers so that you can evaluate time management and any negative-marking effect. If the test uses timed sections, practise those boundaries instead of treating the entire paper as freely navigable.
Paper-specific rules
CAHET is the name used in current ABVMU notices. The Bachelor and Master routes have separate bulletins.

Use the latest notice for your course and session. Later corrections or revised schedules take priority over an earlier bulletin.
