UP CNET Exam Pattern

Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test

Exam PatternUpdated

Use the UP CNET examination scheme for the paper you will actually take. The correct undergraduate, post-basic or postgraduate nursing stream is the relevant selection for this profile.

Examination scheme

Examination scheme
ItemDetails
Session reference2026 B.Sc. Nursing bulletin
ModeOMR-based MCQs
Questions and time120 questions in 140 minutes
Scoring1 mark per correct response; no negative marking
Language and scopeB.Sc. paper: English and Hindi; check separate Post-Basic and M.Sc. bulletins

Use the scheme in practice

Set your practice session to the official time limit. Record unanswered questions separately from incorrect answers so that you can evaluate time management and any negative-marking effect. If the test uses timed sections, practise those boundaries instead of treating the entire paper as freely navigable.

Paper-specific rules

CNET is presented here as one examination family. Select the correct course bulletin; a common name does not mean a common syllabus.

Official resources

Use the latest notice for your course and session. Later corrections or revised schedules take priority over an earlier bulletin.
