Keep the academic session, qualification, quota and collection frequency beside every amount. Tuition, admission charges, university registration, refundable deposits and hostel or mess payments are not interchangeable. A total collected at joining may include both recurring and one-time heads. Future revisions and individual concessions can affect the balance. Retain the accepted fee demand and any counselling receipt so that a payment already made is not counted twice.
Private-college quota and fee scope
The current college-specific fee order and a complete joining demand were not retrievable in the primary documents reviewed for this package. No rupee amount from another Salem college is substituted. Government quota and management/NRI quota are different allotment categories at a self-financing institution; the low state government-college joining total is not automatically applicable. Keep tuition, additional approved charges and accommodation on separate budget lines.
Build a cost sheet that matches your programme
Use separate lines for tuition, university or registration charges, one-time deposits, examination payments, accommodation, mess and personal expenses. An amount collected at joining is not automatically an annual tuition fee, and an annual fee is not the price of the whole course. Category concessions apply only when their conditions and documents are accepted. Keep any payment already made through counselling in the reconciliation so that the same head is not counted twice. A hostel deposit may be refundable under its own conditions; mess consumption and personal expenses should not be presented as fixed academic charges.
