Dr. VRK Women’s Medical College Admissions
NEET-UG · KNRUHS competent-authority / management counselling
MBBS admission through the applicable state process
MBBS at Dr. VRK Women’s Medical College uses NEET-UG and the applicable KNRUHS competent-authority or management-quota process. This is a private unaided college profile, not an AIIMS/INI or deemed-university MBBS route. Government-college AIQ percentages are not applied to its total capacity.
Category A, Category B and NRI / Category C have different eligibility, documentation and tuition implications. A name on a merit list is not a college seat; preference entry, allotment and reporting are separate steps. The annual NMC intake is not a live round-vacancy count.
From registration to reporting
| Stage | Student action |
|---|---|
| Eligibility | Check examination, schooling, local-status and relevant seat-category conditions |
| Registration | Apply in the applicable competent-authority or management process |
| Preferences | Select the exact college and eligible category |
| Allotment | Read course, quota, category and reporting deadline |
| Documents | Prepare originals, category evidence and prescribed declarations |
| Payment / reporting | Match each payment head to the allotted route; collect receipts and acknowledgement |
Current round rules govern upgrade, retention, withdrawal and physical reporting. Do not assume that registering in one process registers you in the other, or that a counselling fee includes the college tuition.
Prepare a document folder
- NEET-UG admit card, scorecard, allotment and verification records.
- Class X date-of-birth evidence and Class XII / intermediate qualification records.
- Study, transfer, migration and equivalence evidence where applicable.
- Valid category, local-status, disability or minority documents if required for the allotted seat.
- For NRI / sponsored eligibility, the documents specified by the applicable university process.
- Prescribed declarations, bonds, photographs and acknowledgements.
This is a planning list rather than a substitute for the exact category checklist. A local-status or community certificate accepted in one route is not automatically sufficient in another. Keep readable scans and a dated acknowledgement of originals handed over.
Budget with the allotted category
The 2026–29 MBBS tuition reference is ₹60,000 for Category A and ₹1,200,000 for Category B. Category C has a ceiling rule and requires the applicable institutional quotation. Hostel and other costs remain separate. Do not pay against a category merely because it appears in a comparison table; the actual allotment and applicable instructions must agree.
MD/MS admission is a separate pathway
The NMC PG matrix as on 29 September 2026 lists 11 MD/MS entries totalling 20 annual PG seats for this institution. This sum belongs to those listed specialties and that matrix date; it is not a current vacancy count or combined MBBS-and-PG intake.
Use the applicable KNRUHS postgraduate competent-authority / management process and its eligibility conditions.
Broad-speciality entry uses NEET-PG with the qualifying medical degree, internship and registration requirements applying in that admission year. MBBS AIR observations and undergraduate category fees do not determine an MD/MS allotment or charge.
Residential planning for the allotted batch
Ask which hostel building and sharing arrangement are offered, how wardens and grievance support operate, and how travel to clinical postings is organised. A residential description does not establish a current room vacancy or an all-inclusive mess rate. Keep any verified hostel demand separate from the category-specific tuition reference.
