Clinical learning and the teaching setting

The college describes its initial MBBS session as 2023–24 and its provisional academic location as the MCH Centre at Champak Hills. The provisional location is kept distinct from any proposed permanent campus.

Clinical exposure develops through supervised postings, ward teaching and practical competencies. Ask how the batch is divided, which sites are used and whether travel between the academic building and hospital is provided. A department name or an undated bed count does not establish current student caseload or independent procedural privileges.

History-taking, patient communication, examination, safety and documentation all form part of learning. Students progress under supervision; early observation should not be described as the same responsibility as internship training. Assess teaching organisation alongside the range of services.
