Accommodation at Government Medical College Nagapattinam
The official hostel page describes separate boys’ and girls’ buildings, each with 96 rooms and three-person sharing subject to availability. It lists study and television halls, Wi-Fi, gym, CCTV, security, UPS backup, two lifts, RO drinking water and mess facilities. The page gives no current tariff or confirmed vacant-room count; no room is promised by this profile.
Costs and allocation
No current hostel/mess charge is included in the government MBBS table on the fees page. Hostel admission and medical-course allotment are separate decisions. A building description or published sharing pattern does not establish a vacant room on the day of reporting.
