Explore the recorded seats information for Government Medical College, Namakkal.
College information
Namakkal’s published orders record an increase from 100 to 150 annual MBBS seats for 2026–27, with the medical regulator’s permission dated 10 July 2026. Approved intake is different from quota-wise vacancies in a counselling round.
Institutional information reviewed 27 October 2026; undated details may change.
Annual capacity and observed allotments are different
The NMC matrix records 150 MBBS seats for GMC Namakkal for AY 2026–27. This figure is not the number remaining in the next counselling round. Named non-MBBS references retain their dated or undated scope in the Courses section. No department list, announcement or proposal is converted into a sanctioned programme.
Reviewed 15 October 2026. Figures retain their stated document periods; a review date does not turn an older schedule into a current demand.
