GMC Ramagundam Admissions
NEET-UG · MCC AIQ / KNRUHS state counselling
GMC Ramagundam MBBS admission pathway
Admission to the MBBS programme follows NEET-UG and the applicable counselling process. The annual NMC reference for GMC Ramagundam is 150 seats. MCC’s All India Quota process and KNRUHS’s Telangana competent-authority process require separate registration, eligibility scrutiny and choice submission. A college reporting notice explains what allotted candidates must do; it does not offer a separate direct-admission route.
The institution also uses the Singareni Institute of Medical Sciences name. Its academic and hospital information concerns Ramagundam and the Godavarikhani setting. This identity is kept separate from similarly named private institutes.
From eligibility to a confirmed college place
| Stage | What to do | Keep as evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Check eligibility | Match the year-specific NEET and counselling conditions | Scorecard, school and category records |
| Register in the applicable process | Use the correct AIQ or state counselling application | Registration and payment acknowledgements |
| Enter preferences | Choose the exact institution and eligible seat options | Saved choice confirmation |
| Read the allotment | Check course, college, quota, category and round | Allotment order |
| Report within that round’s window | Complete scrutiny and applicable payments | Acknowledgement of originals and receipts |
| Consider a later round | Follow that round’s retention / upgrade rules | Submitted willingness and reporting confirmation |
An old reporting window should not be treated as a current open deadline. Read the allotment and latest round instructions together. The obligation to attend physically, submit originals or record willingness can depend on the round and allotment status. Some college notices differ in their upgrade wording, so do not apply another institution’s instructions automatically.
Prepare a document folder
- NEET-UG admit card and score / rank card, allotment order and the applicable verification record.
- Class X or equivalent evidence of date of birth, intermediate / Class XII marks and relevant study records.
- Transfer, migration and equivalence documents where the applicant’s education history requires them.
- Valid category, EWS, disability, local-status or special-category documents applicable to the allotted seat.
- Photographs, identity evidence, prescribed declarations, bonds and self-attested copies according to the college’s batch checklist.
- Separate payment and original-document acknowledgements. Retain readable scans and a dated list of documents handed over.
This is a preparation guide, not a replacement for the exact college checklist. Category formats and certificate dates matter. An OBC document accepted for one process is not automatically the required certificate for another. Do not assume that one affidavit covers genuineness, anti-ragging and discontinuation obligations together.
Reporting venue and fee preparation
The institution also uses the Singareni Institute of Medical Sciences name. Its academic and hospital information concerns Ramagundam and the Godavarikhani setting. This identity is kept separate from similarly named private institutes.
Check the venue before travelling, especially when the administrative office, provisional teaching location and hospital are different. A directory address is not sufficient evidence of the current reporting counter. After scrutiny, collect acknowledgement of originals and confirm that the allotted seat has been recorded as joined in the applicable process.
After joining
Attend orientation, understand attendance and assessment rules, and complete hostel formalities independently of academic admission. Keep emergency contacts, travel arrangements and the first term’s study budget organised. If considering an upgrade or withdrawal, obtain the applicable written procedure and deadline before surrendering documents or changing your reporting status. This page does not promise refunds, a later upgrade or exemption from a discontinuation condition.
Read the complete fee tables and compare the published rank groups.
Prepare the right payment components
The 2026–27 MBBS guide itemises ₹10,000 yearly tuition within ₹29,000/₹27,000 college joining collections, with separate ₹23,000 hostel and ₹12,000 AIQ university charges. These are MBBS figures and are not applied to MD/MS programmes.
Keep the allotment period and category beside each amount. When a guide separates two payments, verify whether one is a component of a printed total before adding it again. Older amounts can be useful context, but they are not a revised demand simply because another page mentions the current counselling year.
MD/MS admission is a separate pathway
The NMC PG matrix as on 29 September 2026 lists 4 MD/MS entries totalling 16 annual PG seats for this institution. This sum belongs to those listed specialties and that matrix date; it is not a current vacancy count or combined MBBS-and-PG intake.
Check MCC postgraduate All India Quota and the applicable KNRUHS postgraduate process separately.
Broad-speciality entry uses NEET-PG with the qualifying medical degree, internship and registration requirements applying in that admission year. MBBS AIR observations and undergraduate category fees do not determine an MD/MS allotment or charge.
