IMS & SUM Hospital, Kalinga Nagar Fees
NEET-UG · MCC deemed-university counselling
MBBS fee structure and payment periods
The institution’s 1 October 2026 MBBS reporting notice lists ₹2,295,000 per year for management/paid seats and US$50,000 per year for NRI seats, each for its stated 4½-year academic period. These figures belong to IMS & SUM Hospital, Kalinga Nagar. Course tuition, welfare, examination charges and refundable deposits are separate heads. The notice’s reporting window is historical and is not presented as an open application deadline.
| Fee head | Published amount | Period and scope |
|---|---|---|
| MBBS management/paid tuition | ₹2,295,000 | Per year for the stated 4½-year academic period |
| MBBS NRI tuition | US$50,000 | Per year for the same stated period; no INR conversion |
| Student welfare | ₹25,000 | One time, non-refundable |
| Institute caution | ₹5,000 | One time, refundable |
| Professional examination | ₹10,000 | Per professional examination |
| Two-bed non-AC hostel | ₹70,000 | Per annum |
| Three-bed AC hostel | ₹1,15,000 | Per annum |
| Two-bed AC hostel | ₹1,25,000 | Per annum |
| Mess | ₹54,000 | Per year |
| Hostel caution | ₹5,000 | One time, refundable |
Retain the admission year, quota, currency and payment period with each figure. A yearly amount, a reporting collection, a one-time deposit and a professional-examination charge are different measures. The entries above are not added into an invented whole-course total.
Hostel, food and everyday expenses
The same campus-specific notice treats hostel accommodation as optional and lists mess and hostel caution separately. Compare the room category rather than one college-wide hostel number. The published ₹54,000 annual mess charge and ₹5,000 refundable hostel caution are separate from the room rate and course tuition.
- Check the room category and the date from which occupation is allowed.
- Separate mess and food payments from room-only charges unless a schedule explicitly bundles them.
- Record refundable deposits separately from permanent expenditure.
- Keep books, clinical clothing, equipment, local travel and personal expenses outside a tuition-only comparison.
An academic allotment and a hostel allotment are separate administrative steps. Retain the itemised demand and payment receipt for your course and batch. Do not budget two room alternatives at once or treat an advertised accommodation option as an available room.
Compare the same kind of cost
For a fair comparison, choose the same programme, admission year and eligible quota. A government fee reference is not directly comparable with a deemed-university tuition-only figure or an NRI amount in US dollars. A college’s reporting collection may include one-time items that are absent from the annual tuition.
No postgraduate fee is inferred from the MBBS schedule. For MD/MS and DM/MCh, use the exact specialty, current admission year and quota. A previous batch’s guarantee, deposit or examination payment should not be carried into a new quotation without the relevant instruction.
Concessions, refund and withdrawal planning
Check the applicable eligibility and collection instructions before assuming that a scholarship, concession or reimbursement changes the payment due at reporting. A fee assessment and the timing of collection can be separate decisions. Keep written sanction and reporting acknowledgements with the receipts.
Read the current cancellation, withdrawal and bond conditions before committing to a seat. An older reporting window or a single cancellation deduction does not settle every later-round consequence. Verify the beneficiary and payment instructions against the current institution notice. MedCollege does not collect institutional fees.
SUM campuses: annual paid-seat MBBS tuition
Both notices state the same admission year and paid-seat tuition period, so these two figures can be compared on that basis. This is not an NRI comparison or an all-inclusive cost ranking. Each campus has its own accommodation options and other charges.
