Frequently asked questions

What is the annual MBBS capacity reference?

The NMC MBBS matrix dated 18 September 2026 lists 250 annual places under OD/011/P/4. Annual capacity is different from seats available in a particular counselling round.

Which programmes are listed?

This catalogue contains 34 named postgraduate/super-speciality entries in the 29 September 2026 existing-capacity matrix.

How do I apply for MBBS?

NEET-UG · MCC deemed-university counselling. Register for MCC deemed-university counselling and select the exact college/campus and eligible paid or NRI choice. Odisha domicile is not substituted as a blanket condition for this MCC route. NRI eligibility and documentary requirements are separate from ordinary paid seats.

What is the MBBS fee reference?

KIMS’ 2026 Round 3 MBBS reporting PDF lists ₹22,50,000 per annum as the institutional fee and US$40,000 per annum for NRI seats. The ₹75,000 registration/academic-kit head is one time; the PDF includes a laptop within that description. Accommodation, mess and hostel admission are separate. These are MBBS charges, not a quotation for MD/MS or DM/MCh.

Is hostel and food included?

The reporting PDF lists the two-bed AC hostel at ₹1,60,000 per annum, mess at ₹55,000 and one-time hostel admission at ₹15,000. The 2026–27 course page also lists a single-bed AC option at ₹2,40,000 per annum and identifies the mess year as ten months. Use the room actually allotted, not both alternatives in one budget.

Are these final cutoff ranks?

The table uses explicit third-round destination cells in MCC’s 2026 Round 3 list, generated on 30 September and published on 1 October. It does not count earlier retained seats without a printed third-round destination. Source paid-seat and NRI quota labels remain separate. These are scoped observations, not final all-round/stray closing ranks or a prediction.

How do postgraduate admissions work?

NEET-PG · MCC deemed-university counselling for supported MD/MS entries. Listed three-year DM/MCh uses NEET-SS and the applicable super-speciality process. No degree entry is inferred from a department name.

Is a job or salary guaranteed?

No. Internship, registration, postgraduate study, service recruitment and later employment are separate stages. No unsupported college-wide placement salary or employment rate is assigned.
