Existing hospital provision and planned expansion
Jajpur’s college-and-hospital page describes the district headquarters hospital as the co-located teaching setting while a larger teaching hospital is planned. These statements retain their institutional context; planned capacity is not presented as a currently functioning hospital. The page also refers to a 2024 faculty position, which is not used as a current staffing count.
Similarly, its general description of 100 MBBS seats is not used to override the dated NMC matrix of 18 September 2026, which lists 50. Ask about the present clinical venue, accommodation, academic facilities and reporting office for the batch before travelling.
Academic access matters more than a facility label

Clinical learning and patient safety
Clinical teaching should connect knowledge with careful patient interaction. Ask how students are supervised, how consent and privacy are handled, and how competencies are assessed. A bed figure, outpatient total or annual intake measures a different thing; none directly measures the quality of an individual posting.
For clinical access, discuss rotations and group arrangements with current students from the same programme. Avoid judging an institution by an unattributed image or by experiences from another campus.
Relocation and daily routine
Map the reporting office, accommodation, academic block and hospital used by your batch before moving. Estimate travel time at posting hours, not only at a quiet time of day. Keep food, local transport, clinical clothing and equipment in your budget. Hostel allocation is a separate administrative step from an academic allotment.
