The homepage displays “250+” UG admissions. This is not entered as an exact current sanctioned MBBS intake; use the session-specific seat matrix.
Sanctioned annual intake, seats offered in a counselling round, allotted seats and finally joined students are four different quantities. A category allocation or historical cutoff cannot be used to infer the entire sanctioned intake. The current matrix is the source for choice filling.

Capacity and counselling seats
250 is the MBBS reference shown for Osmania Medical College. NMC 2026–27 annual MBBS matrix as on 18 September 2026; not live vacancies. A sanctioned annual intake, a quota matrix, a round vacancy and a joined-student count are different measures. The PG catalogue’s null capacities intentionally avoid converting a quota matrix into a total annual intake.
