Constituent medical institute
Smt. B. K. Shah Medical Institute and Research Centre is a constituent of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University at Piparia. The institute dates its establishment to 2003 and postgraduate teaching to 2009.
The course catalogue lists MBBS, MD and MS programmes, plus DM in cardiology and neurology and MCh in cardiovascular-thoracic, neurological and plastic surgery. Current intake requires separate confirmation.
The EBES description includes faculty-guided projects for first- and second-year MBBS students and critical appraisal of clinical questions in the later undergraduate phase.
