Government Medical College Kanker FAQs
NEET-UG · MCC AIQ / Chhattisgarh state counselling
Frequently asked questions
What is the annual MBBS intake?
The NMC matrix dated 18 September 2026 lists 125 annual MBBS seats under code CG/015/G/1. Annual capacity is not the number of vacancies in a counselling round. Quota allocation, category distribution, central-pool nominations and seats returned between authorities need the matrix for that specific round.
Which programmes are listed?
The reviewed existing postgraduate-capacity matrix does not provide a positive MD/MS entry for this college. No postgraduate programme or seat count is inferred from a department name. Later permissions and separate allied-health approvals are outside this catalogue scope.
How does MBBS admission work?
Qualify NEET-UG and complete the applicable MCC AIQ or Chhattisgarh DME state counselling, allotment and reporting process.
What are the college fees?
The 2026 MBBS document requests two college-side payments of ₹40,000 and ₹10,000, totalling ₹50,000. The reviewed lines do not separately certify the fee-head recurrence. This is a reporting-payment reference, not an all-inclusive course price.
Is accommodation included?
This profile does not assign a numerical hostel or mess charge without a matching college-and-batch schedule. Ask about room allotment, deposits, mess billing, transport and the current accommodation offered to your batch. A college admission and a hostel allocation are separate decisions.
Are these final cutoff ranks?
No. The figures describe provisional Round 1 records and the revised Round 3 Fresh Allotment subset. They are not final all-round closing or joined-seat ranks.
How are MD/MS admissions handled?
For named MD/MS programmes, use NEET-PG and the applicable postgraduate counselling route. MBBS rank data is not postgraduate cutoff data.
Is a job or salary guaranteed?
No employment, stipend amount or placement salary is guaranteed. Academic completion, internship, registration, further study and recruitment are separate stages.
