Eligibility checks before applying

Applicants should pass 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English under current rules. The commonly prescribed PCB/Biotechnology aggregate is at least 50% for the unreserved category, 40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates, and 45% for unreserved candidates with the applicable benchmark disability. Candidates must pass English. Always confirm current category, disability and subject provisions in the NEET and counselling bulletin.

Candidates must satisfy the prescribed minimum age by 31 December of the admission year. Tamil-language eligibility is important. Applicants should verify the current rule concerning prior study of Tamil and the recognised Tamil-study or language pathway for candidates who have not studied it previously. Do not assume that language preparation is optional simply because the admission form is available in another language.

Official verification
