Use the DNB PDCET examination scheme for the paper you will actually take. The post-diploma DNB specialty corresponding to your diploma is the relevant selection for this profile.
Examination scheme
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Paper/course selection | The post-diploma DNB specialty corresponding to your diploma |
| Question format and mode | Confirm in the current session bulletin. |
| Questions and duration | Use the figures for the selected paper; they are not verified in this guide. |
| Scoring and sections | Check negative marking, multiple-response rules and any timed sections. |
| Additional stages | Check whether the selected programme requires a further assessment. |
Use the scheme in practice
Set your practice session to the official time limit. Record unanswered questions separately from incorrect answers so that you can evaluate time management and any negative-marking effect. If the test uses timed sections, practise those boundaries instead of treating the entire paper as freely navigable.
Paper-specific rules
Post-diploma DNB admission is distinct from the post-MBBS DNB route. Use the qualification cut-off and specialty mapping in the PDCET bulletin.

Use the latest notice for your course and session. Later corrections or revised schedules take priority over an earlier bulletin.
