DNB PDCET Syllabus

Diplomate of National Board Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test

SyllabusUpdated

Start with the official DNB PDCET syllabus for your session and selected paper. The areas below help organise revision; the bulletin remains the source for the complete topic list and exclusions.

Areas to map against the official syllabus

  • Relevant diploma specialty
  • Clinical problem solving within that specialty
  • Topics specified in the current PDCET bulletin

Make a usable syllabus checklist

  1. Download the relevant syllabus and record its session, course and paper name.
  2. Create one row per official topic and mark it as not started, studied, practised or revised.
  3. Separate unfamiliar concepts from calculation or recall mistakes; plan different practice for each.
  4. Compare any older paper with the current syllabus before treating its topic mix as a guide.

Choose the right level

Post-diploma DNB admission is distinct from the post-MBBS DNB route. Use the qualification cut-off and specialty mapping in the PDCET bulletin.

Keep revision measurable

Use short topic tests after studying a chapter and mixed sets after several topics. Record accuracy, time taken and repeated errors. A topic is ready for revision when you can explain the underlying idea and solve a fresh question without relying on a memorised answer.

Official resources

Use the latest notice for your course and session. Later corrections or revised schedules take priority over an earlier bulletin.
