Sivagangai GMC Admissions
MBBS: NEET-UG; applicable state / All India counselling
Admission & counselling
MBBS admission requires a valid NEET-UG result and selection through the appropriate counselling authority. Tamil Nadu’s 2026–27 prospectus lists a tentative 15 All India quota seats and 85 state seats for Sivagangai. National and state registration, choice filling, allotment and reporting are separate steps. Keep copies of the final locked choices, allotment order and payment receipts.
The college has separate 2026–27 reporting checklists for All India and state-quota candidates. Both ask for originals where applicable, four sets of photocopies and organised scan copies. They also ask for ten photographs matching the NEET application, a college-issued physical-fitness certificate and Hepatitis-B vaccination evidence. Preserve originals without punching or stapling them.
The college eligibility page contains an older upper-age statement. It should not be used as the controlling 2026 eligibility rule. The current Tamil Nadu prospectus states the minimum age condition; check the current examination and counselling rules for your category. Do not treat the admission office’s document checklist as a substitute for the full eligibility rules.

Special categories, 7.5% government-school preference and nativity require their own supporting records. They do not apply automatically to every applicant.
No future round date or admission guarantee is inferred from the historical allotment list.
Keep counselling and college reporting separate
First establish the applicable counselling route and register within its timetable. Read the eligibility and document rules before filling choices. After an allotment, follow the acceptance, payment and reporting instructions for that round; a college enquiry is not a counselling registration. Prepare the originals and copies requested by the actual joining notice, including identity, examination and qualifying-study records and any applicable reservation evidence. Keep acknowledgements and payment references together. If upgrading changes the allotted college, check how the reporting and refund rules apply before making another payment or surrendering an existing place.
