NMC’s undergraduate notice dated 21 September 2026 contains the seat matrix as on 18 September 2026. Sivagangai appears under code TN/031/G/1 with 100 MBBS seats. Its row does not show an increase in that matrix. A later regulator or counselling notice can change the operative position, so the dated row remains the reference for this profile.
The separate NMC broad-specialty matrix reviewed here is for academic year 2025–26. It totals 26 MD/MS seats across the six specialties listed in Courses. It should not be relabelled a 2026–27 postgraduate approval. The college approval page also presents programme permission material, but a permission image and a current counselling vacancy list serve different purposes.
