MBBS concession categories · 2026–27
The state prospectus lists these government-MBBS amounts at allotment. Use the category accepted by the counselling authority; do not subtract a concession twice. These are not hostel or full-course totals.

MD/MS fees · published 2025–26 reference
The state’s 2025–26 government-institution schedule lists annual MD/MS tuition of ₹40,000 and a ₹10,000 special fee. The two components total ₹50,000; this is not an all-inclusive college bill. Other joining charges and accommodation are separate. A 2026–27 replacement and Kilpauk’s itemised bill remain unverified.
Allied-health UG degree tuition · 2026–27
For government-college seats covered by the allied-health UG degree prospectus, tuition is ₹3,000 per year. This does not establish the total payable or current Kilpauk vacancies. It does not apply automatically to diplomas, MBBS, MD/MS or M.Sc. Neuro Surgical Care. PwBD tuition and special-fee exemptions require the accepted admission category.
M.Sc. Neuro Surgical Care
The 2026–27 prospectus specifies ₹15,000 tuition per year for a two-year course. Additional special and other joining fees are not itemised. Its ₹1,50,000 discontinuation charge applies when a joined student leaves after the cut-off date; read the full conditions before accepting a seat.
Costs still requiring a current quote
A current Kilpauk itemised PG/SS bill, a 2026–27 MD/MS replacement schedule, DM/MCh fees, diploma charges, hostel rent, mess costs and deposit terms remain unverified. The separately labelled 2025–26 PG reference is not presented as a 2026–27 tariff. The planner uses only amounts you enter.
Build a cost sheet that matches your programme
Use separate lines for tuition, university or registration charges, one-time deposits, examination payments, accommodation, mess and personal expenses. An amount collected at joining is not automatically an annual tuition fee, and an annual fee is not the price of the whole course. Category concessions apply only when their conditions and documents are accepted. Keep any payment already made through counselling in the reconciliation so that the same head is not counted twice. A hostel deposit may be refundable under its own conditions; mess consumption and personal expenses should not be presented as fixed academic charges.
