Madras Medical College Cutoffs
MBBS: NEET-UG; applicable state / All India counselling
How to assess the admission cutoff
A useful cutoff belongs to a specific year, course, quota, category and counselling round.
No verified numerical closing-rank table is imported in this update. To build one, start with the official allotment publications and retain the source for every row. Do not present an undated coaching estimate as the college’s official cutoff.
Use historical closing ranks to understand past allocations, then check current eligibility, seats and the active rules. A prior-year rank is not an admission promise, especially when seat numbers or counselling conditions change.
| Required field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Examination and year | Scores and ranking distributions change between years |
| Programme and college code | Different degrees and institutions have different allocation lists |
| Quota and category | A closing rank in one pool cannot be applied to another |
| Round and status | An allotment, upgrade, resignation and final admission are different events |
| Authority | Use MCC or the applicable state counselling publication |
Compare like-for-like admission evidence
A useful cutoff comparison keeps the programme, year, round, quota, rank system and allotted-seat category together. A NEET qualifying mark establishes an examination threshold; it does not establish a college closing rank. Tamil Nadu general rank and NEET All India Rank are different measures. Candidate community also differs from allotted-seat category, because a candidate may obtain a seat through another eligible category. The historical observations retained below keep their source labels. They are not predictions, final admitted-student records or a promise that the same result will recur. No trend chart is drawn from incompatible rank systems.
