Programme facts and their limits
The regulator’s 2026–27 MAIDS BDS record lists an intake capacity and permitted seats of 50, alongside 40 recognised seats. These are different register fields; this profile does not reinterpret them as identical or promise a particular quota vacancy. Use the current MCC matrix for selectable seats.

Reading intake and counselling availability
The numerical register fields are explained in Programme facts. A counselling round’s available seats are a different dataset from annual capacity. Reservation, horizontal categories, changes in approval and already-filled seats can affect what you can select. This is interpretation guidance; the live category matrix has not been republished here.

Cutoffs: compare the right admission record
A verified MAIDS 2026 category-and-round closing-rank table is not included. A useful comparison needs the programme, counselling authority, quota, category, round, year and rank type together. A qualifying examination threshold is not a college closing rank.
Use official allotment results rather than an unattributed screenshot. Check whether the figure is a last-allotted rank or a last-joined rank, and whether the seat category matches yours. Past admission data can help planning but cannot guarantee this year’s allotment. No predicted cutoff is published here.
