MBBS fees and reporting payments
RIMS’s accessible 2025–26 MBBS document lists ₹7,45,187 tuition, ₹20,000 refundable caution money and ₹5,50,000 for hostel/mess and transportation. Together those historical heads give ₹13,15,187. These amounts retain the 2025–26 label and are not presented as the payable 2026–27 demand. The newer 2026–27 prospectus is separately identified; its complete current fee table is not established here.

Amounts shown for MBBS must not be applied to MD/MS, a different quota or an older academic batch. Preserve the receipt and match the amount, year, beneficiary and payment method to the actual admission instruction. MedCollege does not collect institutional fees.
Hostel and everyday costs
The historical 2025–26 RIMS document bundles hostel/mess and transport at ₹5,50,000. It does not establish current room availability or a 2026–27 accommodation quotation. Current hostel billing, deposits and the allotment offered should be checked separately from that historical reference.
- Allow for mess or food costs separately from a room-only charge.
- Keep travel, books, clinical clothing and equipment outside a tuition-only comparison.
- Separate refundable deposits from non-refundable collections.
- Do not multiply a joining total by 5½ to manufacture a course fee.
Comparing costs correctly
Compare the same programme, admission year, quota and payment period. A joining collection can contain recurring and one-time items; a tuition-only price from another institution is not a like-for-like comparison. A scholarship or reimbursement application does not remove the reporting deadline unless the applicable instructions explicitly allow it.
Keep admission-year figures separate
The 2025–26 figures above are historical context, not a confirmation of the 2026–27 payable demand. Do not carry an older caution payment, accommodation bundle or bank-guarantee amount into a new batch budget without that batch’s written schedule. No whole-course total or current postgraduate fee is inferred from this MBBS reference.
