Admission & counselling

For MBBS, qualify NEET UG, establish eligibility and apply through MCC for the applicable All India route or Tamil Nadu’s Selection Committee for the state route. A seat is secured through an eligible allotment and completed reporting, not by sending an enquiry through MedCollege.

The age reference is completion of 17 years by 31 December 2026. Academic subjects, qualifying marks, nativity, reservation, special categories and documentation must satisfy the applicable 2026–27 rules. A generic checklist cannot determine eligibility for an individual applicant.

For MD/MS, confirm the applicable NEET PG qualification, internship completion, registration, counselling route and current prospectus. Prepare MBBS qualification and internship documents, registration, allotment and any applicable service/category/bond documents. Course availability in the previous matrix is not a promise of a current vacancy.

The college publishes a 14-page MBBS joining application for 2026–27, a physical fitness form and affidavit resources. The application includes joining, certificate verification and declaration forms. Use the current instructions relevant to your quota and reporting round.

The application asks for scans at mesection.gtmc@gmail.com. Confirm the address and current submission procedure with the office before sending personal documents. Its 7.5% reservation checklist retains a reference to students completing HSC in 2024 despite the 2026–27 heading; do not treat that stale wording as the current exemption rule.

The homepage announces the Phase 1 opening on 15 September 2026 and foundation course through 29 September. The admission page link labelled as the opening-date document instead opens a counselling schedule. The announcement is therefore attributed to the homepage; the mismatched PDF is not presented as an opening circular.

Keep counselling and college reporting separate

First establish the applicable counselling route and register within its timetable. Read the eligibility and document rules before filling choices. After an allotment, follow the acceptance, payment and reporting instructions for that round; a college enquiry is not a counselling registration. Prepare the originals and copies requested by the actual joining notice, including identity, examination and qualifying-study records and any applicable reservation evidence. Keep acknowledgements and payment references together. If upgrading changes the allotted college, check how the reporting and refund rules apply before making another payment or surrendering an existing place.

Evidence context: existing college material reviewed 2026-09-24. Added institutional context reviewed 15 October 2026. Individual tables retain their own source years; no new historical series is implied.
