The NMC MBBS matrix dated 18 September 2026 lists 250 annual places under OD/019/G/1. Annual capacity is different from seats available in a particular counselling round.

Documents and identity checks
- NEET admit card, score/rank record and the correct counselling allotment letter.
- Class X date-of-birth/pass evidence and Class XII subject and marks documents.

Document format, validity and original/copy requirements vary by process and batch. A state category certificate does not automatically satisfy a central requirement. Keep a record of originals submitted, and confirm that joining is entered in the authority’s system.
At this college
Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, commonly called VIMSAR, is the government medical institution at Burla. MBBS and named postgraduate courses need separate admission and fee comparisons. Its current MBBS annual reference includes the increase recorded in the September 2026 NMC matrix; older web pages should not override that dated capacity.
VIMSAR’s college instruction dated 10 August 2026 for MBBS 2026–27 lists an admission payment of ₹38,150 and an annual hostel fee of ₹14,000. Its checklist distinguishes documents for all reporting candidates from additional steps for freeze candidates. This specific reporting collection is not labelled annual tuition and must not be added again to a general government fee reference as though it were a separate course charge.
Confirm the reporting office and travel arrangements for the actual round. Academic, hospital, hostel and administrative locations may differ.

A department name or a hospital service does not establish a degree seat. Later approvals can change the course inventory after the existing-capacity matrix date.
