Academic, practical and internship timeline
ANM has a two-year training duration. It combines classroom teaching, nursing laboratory practice, community fieldwork and supervised clinical experience. Attendance, practical records, case work and clinical competencies are compulsory components rather than optional add-ons.
Students may rotate through community settings, sub-centres, primary-health services, maternal and child-health units and other approved clinical areas. Exact theory and practical hours, vacation and examination schedules follow the current curriculum and state implementation.
