What affects earnings and progression
There is no single dependable salary figure for every graduate. Earnings depend on city, employer, shifts, patient volume, procedure competence, experience and responsibility.
Fresh graduates should assess structured supervision, workload, emergency calls, insurance, safety culture and opportunities to build verified skills—not only monthly salary. Experience in EEG, NCS, polysomnography, video monitoring or intraoperative monitoring may support progression when backed by proper training.
Further education may lead to specialised clinical practice, neuroscience research, teaching, healthcare technology or laboratory management. A postgraduate qualification does not replace medical training or authorise someone to practise as a neurologist.
