Academic, practical and internship timeline
B.RT is a four-year programme combining academic instruction, skills laboratories, supervised clinical postings and compulsory internship training. Students progress from simulation to respiratory laboratories, wards, emergency departments and intensive-care environments.
Clinical exposure should cover pulmonary-function testing, oxygen-delivery systems, airway support, adult and paediatric critical care, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, sleep services and rehabilitation. Attendance, competency assessments, case presentations and clinical logbooks matter. Students shall receive an internship stipend; the amount is decided by the applicable State Allied and Healthcare Council, and candidates should confirm the institution’s payment procedure.
