Eligibility checks before applying
Diploma eligibility is set by the competent university, state board or awarding authority. Many programmes ask for 10+2 with science, but subject combinations, minimum marks, English, age and medical-fitness rules are not universal. Applicants should rely on the current official prospectus rather than a general web description.
For comparison, the current bachelor-level emergency-medical-technologist pathway requires 10+2 merit with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany and Zoology, completion of 17 years by 31 December of admission, and a fitness certificate endorsed by a government medical officer. These bachelor rules should not automatically be presented as diploma rules.
