What is the duration of DM Endocrinology?

It is normally a three-year full-time super-specialty residency.

Is NEET-SS required?

NEET-SS is the route for participating institutions followed by MCC super-speciality counselling. Institutes of National Importance using INI-SS follow their separately notified examination and allocation process, so candidates must check the route for each target institution.

Can MBBS graduates apply directly?

No. An eligible MD/DNB feeder postgraduate qualification is required.

Is diabetes the only major subject?

No. The course also covers thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, bone, reproductive, growth and metabolic disorders.

Does the course include paediatric endocrinology?

Growth and puberty are included, while the depth of paediatric exposure depends on the centre.
