MBBS fees: AIQ and state quota, 2026–27

The two official fee sheets itemise college charges rather than publishing a five-and-a-half-year total. Both show ₹6,100 in college charges. The AIQ sheet separately lists a ₹12,600 university fee and a combined ₹18,700 amount. The state sheet does not include that university amount in its displayed college total; omission is not proof that every university charge is waived.

For budgeting, distinguish an amount payable on reporting from a recurring yearly charge. The college sheets do not label every component’s renewal frequency or refund treatment. We therefore do not multiply ₹6,100 or ₹18,700 by the course duration. Hostel and mess must also be considered separately, with current receipts and the allotment terms.

Before travelling, ask the admission office which payment method applies to your allotment, whether any component has already been paid to the counselling authority, and which receipts must accompany reporting. Check the beneficiary details on the official sheet rather than paying through an agent’s message. A refundable deposit still requires cash at the time of payment, even though it is not the same as a permanent expense.

These are published sheet amounts, not a certified full-course cost or an annual total. Hostel, mess and conditional bond liability are excluded.

The two components sum to the sheet’s ₹18,700 displayed amount. They are joining-sheet fields, not certified annual tuition or whole-course costs. The state sheet separately displays ₹6,100 college charges; omission of a university field is not proof of a waiver.
