Why does AFMC require a different shortlist?
The medical-cadet pathway combines NEET UG, AFMC registration through MCC, shortlisting, institutional screening and medical fitness. It also involves residential discipline and service obligations. An ordinary Maharashtra CAP rank does not describe this selection.
How many individually named qualifications are retained?
29 entries from the installed September 2026 NMC snapshots, matched to code MH/002/G/1. This is not an exhaustive inventory of allied or NBEMS training.
What is the MBBS intake reference?
150 total institutional intake in the NMC 18 September 2026 snapshot for 2026–27. It is not the number of vacancies in your counselling category.
What is the admission route?

Does a MedCollege enquiry secure admission?

Which hospital setting supports training?
AFMC identifies Command Hospital (Southern Command), the Army Institute of Cardio-Thoracic Sciences, Military Hospital Kirkee, the Artificial Limb Centre and Cantonment General Hospital, Pune among its affiliated clinical training settings. These are distinct institutions within the training network; the campus address alone does not identify every posting location.
Are all fees annual tuition?
No. Read the dated fee table’s period and scope. Joining charges, deposits, hostel and mess are separate; never multiply a mixed admission total by the course length.
Is the cutoff table a final closing rank?
No numerical AFMC cutoff is published here. Screening and final selection must be distinguished.
Is accommodation guaranteed?
AFMC medical-cadet study is residential and subject to its cadet accommodation and mess rules.
Can a hospital department be counted as a degree?
No. A named degree and exact institution evidence are needed. A service department alone does not establish a sanctioned qualification or intake.
Are packages and reviews invented to complete the page?
No. Unverified salaries, placement percentages, ratings and testimonials are not manufactured.
What should I check before reporting?
The exact college, programme, quota, admission year, selection/allotment proof, document validity, reporting venue and written fee demand. Keep receipts and original-document acknowledgements.
