ESIC Kalaburagi: Admissions

The Kalaburagi manual requires personal reporting

The 2026–27 MBBS manual requires the candidate to report physically and complete admission at the Academic Section in the Medical College Block. It does not permit a representative to finish admission in the candidate’s place. Counselling allotment and completed institutional admission are different stages. A current reporting schedule must still be matched to the relevant authority and round. The existing profile retains the separate All India, Karnataka and insured-person seat routes rather than treating the ESIC name as a single admissions channel.

Choose the exact postgraduate qualification separately

Kalaburagi’s reviewed catalogue contains MBBS and sixteen named MD/MS entries, including laboratory, community and clinical subjects. These entries retain their dated regulator capacity references. A hospital department, a shared campus institution and a qualification on a neighbouring profile are not automatically additional medical degrees here. An MBBS entrant cannot reserve a later specialist seat through the undergraduate allotment. The related admission explanations below distinguish current entry, later study and documentary verification without inventing a reporting deadline or an available vacancy.

Admission to ESIC Kalaburagi

Select the exact programme and seat category before registering. For MBBS at ESIC Kalaburagi, the entrance examination is NEET UG. A qualifying result permits participation subject to eligibility; it does not reserve a seat. For the listed MD/MS subjects, the relevant entrance route is NEET PG, followed by the applicable counselling process.

From examination to college reporting

  • Confirm eligibility: check the qualification, age, registration and category rules relevant to your programme and seat.
  • Register with the counselling authority: NEET registration and MCC/KEA counselling registration are separate steps.
  • Match the college: use Employees State Insurance Corporation Medical College, Gulbarga and code KA/019/G/1 when cross-checking the institutional identity. Counselling authorities may use their own codes.
  • Enter and save choices: choose the exact programme and quota shown in the current authority’s matrix; retain the confirmation record.
  • Read the allotment outcome: follow the round’s joining, upgrade, resignation and forfeiture rules. Do not assume a rule from an earlier round still applies.
  • Report and complete admission: bring the original documents required by the authority and college, satisfy verification, and retain the generated admission and payment records.

Additional ESIC category requirements

The 30 April 2026 ESIC notice provides a separate application process for the Ward-of-IP certificate and centralised allotment through MCC/DGHS. It provisionally identifies 68 MBBS seats for eligible wards at each of the Rajajinagar and Gulbarga colleges. This provisional category allocation is not the college’s total intake and can change.

A candidate seeking another quota must follow that quota’s rules. ESIC also lists dental and nursing institutions separately; their seats are not attached to this medical-college profile.

After allotment

Check the exact campus, qualification and quota on the letter before arranging travel. Read the fee scope before paying and the accommodation section before assuming a room is included. Keep original certificates accessible and preserve copies of every acknowledgement. A MedCollege enquiry does not submit a counselling application or secure admission.
