Medical College Kolkata
Frequently asked questions
Where is the college?
88, College Street, Kolkata, West Bengal 700073
How does MBBS admission work?
NEET-UG followed by MCC counselling for the applicable All India Quota seats or the relevant state counselling process, then institutional reporting.
Are the listed fees the whole MBBS cost?
The following is a historical 2025 admission-payment instruction, not a verified 2026 fee schedule. Do not use the historical ₹6,500 transaction as a complete annual or full-course cost. Confirm the current year’s tuition, hostel, deposits and examination charges.
Is a hostel room guaranteed?
The college has a dedicated Hostel Committee page. Its historical 2025 admission payment notice asks candidates to use a ₹6,500 admission-fee entry and put other payment heads at zero in that particular transaction. That instruction does not mean that hostel, tuition or mess is permanently free.
Are the programme links the complete offering?
The researched selection contains 1 programme. Other course listings may add more; the official catalogue and current seat matrix establish the complete offering.
What do the cutoff figures mean?
They are maximum allotted AIRs in MCC final 2025 Round 1, All India quota, by allotted non-PwD seat category. They are not current admission predictions.
Are these recent campus photographs?
Check each caption. Some photographs document older buildings or historical events; the source-review date is not the photograph date.
Does this profile guarantee recognition or admission?
No. Verify the specific course approval and the current counselling eligibility. Admission requires a valid allotment and completion of the institution’s reporting process.
