MBBS fees and reporting payments
The 2026–27 table lists ₹8,63,000 tuition, ₹25,000 refundable caution money, ₹2,50,000 transportation and ₹3,02,700 hostel/mess. Adding those four heads gives ₹14,40,700. This is an arithmetic joining subtotal, not a quoted whole-course price. The college draft is ₹11,38,000 and the hostel draft ₹3,02,700; together they reconcile to the same amount.

Amounts shown for MBBS must not be applied to MD/MS, a different quota or an older academic batch. Preserve the receipt and match the amount, year, beneficiary and payment method to the actual admission instruction. MedCollege does not collect institutional fees.
Hostel and everyday costs
The 2026–27 schedule lists hostel/mess at ₹3,02,700, with transportation of ₹2,50,000 kept separate. Do not replace either figure with another Bhilai college’s schedule. The ₹8,63,000 bank guarantee is a separate security instrument rather than another cash tuition payment.
- Allow for mess or food costs separately from a room-only charge.
- Keep travel, books, clinical clothing and equipment outside a tuition-only comparison.
- Separate refundable deposits from non-refundable collections.
- Do not multiply a joining total by 5½ to manufacture a course fee.
Comparing costs correctly
Compare the same programme, admission year, quota and payment period. A joining collection can contain recurring and one-time items; a tuition-only price from another institution is not a like-for-like comparison. A scholarship or reimbursement application does not remove the reporting deadline unless the applicable instructions explicitly allow it.
NRI tuition and payment security
The schedule uses US$35,000 per year for NRI tuition. Currency and quota stay explicit; it is not an INR amount or a standard-quota price. Other charges must be read under the same schedule and eligibility category. A bank guarantee is a separate security instrument. Its face amount is not added to the cash joining total as a second tuition payment, although arranging it may involve bank terms or collateral.
The printed payment heads do not settle every future revision, refund or withdrawal question. Read the current allotment, admission undertakings and fee demand together before committing. Do not apply the MBBS table to MD/MS.

These payment heads sum to ₹1,440,700. They are not all necessarily recurring annual charges. Bank-guarantee security, NRI tuition and any unquoted extra costs are outside this comparison. Refundable caution money remains identified separately.
