Tirunelveli Medical College Admissions
MBBS: NEET-UG; applicable state / All India counselling
MBBS 2026–27: choose the correct checklist
The college publishes separate All India quota and state quota documents. Use the one matching your allotment and read it with the latest counselling instruction. The college checklist describes reporting documents; it does not replace registration, choice locking or allotment by the responsible authority.
Documents common to the two routes
Prepare the allotment and NEET records, school marks/pass records, community, conduct and transfer certificates, and applicable migration/nativity/eligibility records. The college also asks for hepatitis-B vaccination proof, an Aadhaar copy, one photocopy set and eight photographs. Disability documentation is conditional on the applicable category. Use the source documents for exact wording and applicability.
Differences that can prevent a reporting delay
| Route | Checklist distinction |
|---|---|
| All India quota | First-year HSC marks and the HSC pass certificate are qualified as “if available”. The eligibility-certificate entry excludes CBSE and ICSE boards. Disability certification must follow the MCC competent-authority list. |
| State quota | Adds the government-school bonafide certificate for eligible 7.5% candidates, a sworn affidavit and Selection Committee fee receipt. Its eligibility-certificate wording does not repeat the AIQ board exception. |
Reporting checklist and document privacy
The checklist below is a planning aid stored in your own browser. Do not upload Aadhaar, marksheets or medical/vaccination records to a general enquiry form. Keep originals secure and provide them only through the admission process specified by the relevant authority. Contact the Medical Education Section if your certificate name or category record needs clarification.
Nursing and allied-health routes
These programmes use their own state notifications and eligibility tables. The 2026–27 government-college DGNM route is for women and requires completion of 17 years by 31 December 2026. Science-subject requirements differ across laboratory, radiological and other diploma courses. A qualifying examination or document accepted for one programme does not automatically establish eligibility for another.
Keep counselling and college reporting separate
First establish the applicable counselling route and register within its timetable. Read the eligibility and document rules before filling choices. After an allotment, follow the acceptance, payment and reporting instructions for that round; a college enquiry is not a counselling registration. Prepare the originals and copies requested by the actual joining notice, including identity, examination and qualifying-study records and any applicable reservation evidence. Keep acknowledgements and payment references together. If upgrading changes the allotted college, check how the reporting and refund rules apply before making another payment or surrendering an existing place.
Evidence context: existing college material reviewed 24 September 2026. Added institutional context reviewed 15 October 2026. Individual tables retain their own source years; no new historical series is implied.
