Intern and resident stipends · August 2026

The college disclosure gives the following monthly amounts. Its covering letter and table heading identify August 2026, while the student-count column is mistakenly labelled July 2026. Only the stipend amounts are transcribed here; no trainee headcount is inferred from that inconsistent column.

Nursing stipend reference

The 2026–27 state DGNM prospectus lists monthly stipends of ₹600, ₹700 and ₹800 across years one to three, with ₹800 during internship. These nursing training amounts are distinct from the medical-resident table above and remain subject to applicable revisions.

Career outcomes are not placement promises

Medical graduates and residents pursue further training, recruitment or practice under the applicable qualification and registration rules. The sources reviewed do not provide a verified Tirunelveli placement rate, median salary or recruiting-company list. Training stipend figures must not be advertised as graduate placement salaries.

Separate medical training from a placement claim

Medical education includes supervised clinical learning and, for MBBS, a compulsory internship pathway. Postgraduate admission, professional registration and employment are separate outcomes. A hospital attachment does not prove that every graduate receives a job offer, and a stipend is not the same measure as a graduate salary package. When considering future study, compare the qualification and eligibility for the next step rather than an invented placement percentage. Where the institution publishes dated outcome or stipend records, their course, cohort and period are kept beside the figure. No employer names, salary averages or guaranteed offers have been manufactured for this profile.

Evidence context: existing college material reviewed 24 September 2026. Added institutional context reviewed 15 October 2026. Individual tables retain their own source years; no new historical series is implied.
