Academic, practical and internship timeline
The current bachelor-level framework is four years, integrating academic study, laboratory skills, supervised clinical postings and compulsory internship training. Exact internship months, hours and rotation distribution must match the current curriculum and its corrigendum adopted by the university.
Clinical postings should cover dialysis-unit workflow, haemodialysis, peritoneal-dialysis exposure, water treatment, infection control, patient monitoring and emergency response. Students maintain logbooks and competency records. Internship stipend is determined by the applicable State Allied and Healthcare Council; confirm the payment procedure with the institution.
