Student reviews and campus experience
This guide does not fabricate student posts or ratings. A useful review should identify the course, batch and experience being described.
Clinical postings
Ask how groups are allocated, how often bedside teaching happens and whether feedback is consistent across rotations.
Teaching spaces
Look for specific information about practicals, skills sessions, library access and study facilities.
Accommodation
Separate hostel availability and room quality from experiences of privately rented accommodation.
Student support
Ask how academic difficulties, welfare concerns and complaints are handled in practice.
Compare several perspectives and seek examples. A strong statement about a college becomes more useful when it explains what happened, in which programme and during which period. Conditions can change between batches.
During a visit, use the same evaluation questions at every shortlisted institution. This makes it easier to compare practical factors such as commuting, supervision and expenses without relying only on reputation.
