GMC Thiruvannamalai Highlights
MBBS: NEET-UG; applicable state / All India counselling
Highlights
The college’s academic history and present seat disclosures should be read separately. A hospital operating from 1950 does not make the MBBS course a 1950 programme. Likewise, a newer critical-care block does not establish a revised total bed strength unless a current hospital inventory explicitly includes it. The timeline below keeps these distinctions visible.
The medical education unit records practical training events for students and faculty. Its January 2026 conference report describes workshops involving Pharmacology, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Anaesthesia and Emergency Medicine. These are examples of published teaching activity, not a guarantee that every incoming student completes an identical timetable or procedure count.
