The current MBBS intake is 100. Tamil Nadu’s 2026–27 tentative table assigns 15 to AIQ and 85 to the state quota. The profile uses these published integers. It does not derive a new category allocation by multiplying reservation percentages into a college intake, because round-wise matrices and category rules determine actual allotments.

Subtracting 79 from 85 would not establish six available state seats: the source may exclude other lists, joining changes or special-route records.
