Cut-off & allotment ranks
A qualifying NEET score is different from the rank that obtained a particular college seat. Admission depends on year, round, quota, candidate eligibility and allotted category. A provisional allotment list is not a promise of admission at that score.
| Candidate community | Observed rows | Lowest observed marks | Highest observed marks | Best state rank | Last observed state rank |

| OC | 2 | 586.0 | 589.0 | 974 | 1050 |
| MBC&DNC | 25 | 570.0 | 584.0 | 1149 | 1615 |
| BCM | 5 | 566.0 | 580.0 | 1247 | 1755 |
| SC | 17 | 511.0 | 540.0 | 3149 | 5345 |
| SCA | 2 | 496.0 | 507.0 | 5694 | 6673 |
| ST | 1 | 467.0 | 467.0 | 9517 | 9517 |
Excludes explicitly marked PWD and SPORTS CATEGORY rows. Grouped by candidate community, not allotted-seat reservation category. This is not a final category cutoff, AIQ closing rank or complete historical trend.
| Check | Reason |
|---|---|
| Rank system | State rank and All India rank are different |
| Quota | AIQ and state routes use different lists |
| Round | Later vacancies and upgrades change allotments |
| Category | Candidate community does not necessarily equal allotted seat category |
| Programme | MBBS and postgraduate cutoffs are not comparable |
| Final status | Provisional allotment does not prove joining |
Compare like-for-like admission evidence
A useful cutoff comparison keeps the programme, year, round, quota, rank system and allotted-seat category together. A NEET qualifying mark establishes an examination threshold; it does not establish a college closing rank. Tamil Nadu general rank and NEET All India Rank are different measures. Candidate community also differs from allotted-seat category, because a candidate may obtain a seat through another eligible category. The historical observations retained below keep their source labels. They are not predictions, final admitted-student records or a promise that the same result will recur. No trend chart is drawn from incompatible rank systems.
