Verify the approved course name, affiliation, current permission and sanctioned intake. The attached teaching hospital should have adequate beds, outpatient activity, emergency services, operating theatres, laboratories and diverse specialty departments.
Ask for the clinical-rotation calendar, faculty qualifications, supervision ratios, skills-lab facilities, logbook system and internship assessment method. Avoid programmes that promise independent doctor status, independent prescribing or an MBBS-equivalent role.
