Admission payment and published refund terms

The 2026–27 admission notice requires ₹34,315 to be deposited with the Accounts Section through a demand draft in favour of Chief Accounts Officer, Government Medical College Handwara, payable at J&K Bank Handwara.

The notice says no fee is to be deducted when a seat is reallocated in the second or third counselling round, and that the full admission fee is reimbursable if a candidate resigns during the counselling period. Applicants should confirm the applicable resignation window and refund procedure for their round.

The stated admission payment matches the printed Phase I total. The fee annexure contains small arithmetic differences, documented in the fee tables below; confirm the final payable amount with the Accounts Section.

Affidavits and form numbering

The attached pack labels the student anti-ragging affidavit Annexure IV, the parent affidavit Annexure V and the time-gap affidavit Annexure VI. The opening notice refers to the gap affidavit as Annexure IV, which conflicts with the actual attachment label; use the titled form and confirm the accepted version with the admission desk.

The forms call for attestation by a First Class Magistrate. The gap form contains a declaration that no other degree or diploma course was joined after Class 12. A candidate whose history differs should ask the college which declaration applies and provide accurate information.

Anti-ragging and student conduct documents

The committee index publishes links for an anti-ragging committee, disciplinary committee and anti-ragging squad. The 2026–27 admission pack requires candidate and parent anti-ragging affidavits.

Students should obtain the current complaint contacts and reporting procedure on joining. The existence of an indexed document is not confirmation that all listed committee members remain unchanged.
