MBBS programme and academic administration
The 2026–27 admission pack provides separate forms for UT quota and All India quota entrants to MBBS. Both ask for University of Kashmir registration details, where the student is already registered.
The July 2026 fee order organises MBBS charges by Phase I, Phase II, Phase III Part I and Phase III Part II. These phase labels should be retained when comparing costs; they are not a uniform annual tuition quotation.
The 30 July 2026 notice scheduled Phase III Part I students of the 2023–24 batch for pre-para-clinical electives from 1 to 15 August 2026. Each student was to maintain an activity logbook signed by the allotted guide and countersigned by the department head.
The annexure covers the eight departments below. These are dated examples of organised teaching, not an open elective application or a fresh timetable. The notice says clinical elective postings would be notified separately.
The January 2026 hostel notice is addressed to DNB candidates at GMC Handwara. It supports the presence of DNB-related student administration at that time, but does not identify specialty accreditation, the current admission intake or programme fees.
Current NBEMS accreditation and the relevant admission matrix are needed before selecting a specialty. A senior-resident recruitment notice or a department heading should not be interpreted as a postgraduate admission offer.
MBBS includes academic and clinical training followed by the prescribed internship. Check the current course regulations and the institution's prospectus for the training schedule.
