Anatomy and practical learning
The Anatomy department describes a dedicated dissection hall and undergraduate teaching following the competency-based medical education pattern. Its teaching and research profile sits alongside the histology, neuroanatomy and surgical-anatomy electives listed for the 2023–24 MBBS batch.
The page does not establish a current audited hall capacity, cadaver availability or complete equipment inventory.
The library page reports more than 3,525 books and 30 print journals up to 2025, split into 10 international and 20 national titles. It describes access to more than 13,000 journals through ONOS and access to the National Digital Library of India.
Reported facilities include a 200-user reading hall, networked browsing, circulation and reference services, printing and photocopying, research support, digital-resource orientation and remote-login access to eligible electronic resources.
Book and print-journal figures are explicitly dated up to 2025. Access depends on current subscriptions and institutional credentials; these counts were not independently audited.
The published library hours are 9:00 am–8:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, with issue/return transactions from 10:00 am–2:30 pm. Users need a valid, non-transferable library card.
The page gives a 15-day return period and says reference books, journals, newspapers and magazines are not issued outside the library. Check the current holiday timetable, loan conditions and any applicable fines with the library desk.
